We’d like to introduce a new feature: Customer Spotlights. When we provide a custom printing project, we like to get to know a little bit about the business or event. Understanding our customers helps us better serve them. From time to time, a customer’s product and design strikes us as so unique and exciting, they deserve a special mention. This may be because their product, company, or event is cutting edge and exciting or because their printing project required special skills and innovation. Consider it our way of saying thanks for what you do and thanks for letting us be a part of it.
Cheese Culture: “A Whey of Life”
Cheese Culture is a new business that will be opening its store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the summer of 2011. Their unique logo of a goat playing a fiddle and their company tagline, “A Whey of Life,” encapsulate Cheese Culture’s creativity as well as their love of all things cheese. Cheese Culture specializes in artisan cheeses, providing gift baskets, party platters, and more. Their menu also features sandwiches as well as crafted beers and a boutique wine collection.
Cheese Culture needed something to make their product packaging stand out and showcase the uniqueness of their company. They designed a two-color personalized ribbon imprint and we were happy to take on their project. In order to print the ribbon for Cheese Culture, we created two printing plates – one for the yellow lines and one for the black logo. One of the challenges of two-color ribbon printing is maintaining the appropriate spacing between the printing plates. Our team of artists was able to adjust the art as needed to achieve the best print without having to change Cheese Culture’s logo. The final result is shown above: a two-color printed custom grosgrain ribbon.
