Do I need a special material to go on a plastic squeezable bottle?
Yes. One size does NOT fit all when it comes to labels and plastic bottles. Please contact a Customer Care Rep at 1-888-281-0042 and our experts will discuss material and adhesive options with you for your specific bottle.

Which adhesive is best for cold/freezer environments?
Our white gloss, white semi gloss, and SpeedyMark® general purpose and permanent labels all use an adhesive that is considered "freezer perm." It is an all-temperature adhesive that should be used when good adhesion at low temperatures is required. This adhesive becomes more aggressive as the temperature drops, especially below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this adhesive is not suitable for labeling curved surfaces and has limited adhesion to moist surfaces. If you have any additional questions about which adhesive is right for you, contact our Customer Care team at 1-888-281-0042.

What adhesive should I use on my food product labels?
The FDA requires a pre-approved direct-food contact adhesive to be used whenever the label will come into contact with food. A different requirement exists if the label is going to go on the food packaging itself. Contact a Customer Care Rep at 1-888-281-0042 and someone will be happy to work with you to be sure you have the appropriate adhesives on your food labels.

What should I order if my labels are going to come into contact with moisture on a regular basis?
We would recommend a laminated label for durability and moisture resistance. A vinyl or poly material works best in high moisture areas. The type of printing process to be used would depend on whether or not your labels are going to be exposed to sunlight. Please call our knowledgeable staff at 1-888-281-0042 with your specific questions about this and they will be happy to help you.

What is the expiration date for the adhesive on my labels?
The "shelf life" of a label depends on the type of label you've purchased. Storage conditions also play a large role in an adhesive's shelf life. In general, adhesives are guaranteed for about one year. If you have any additional questions, please contact our Customer Care team at 1-888-281-0042.
