HP Digital Labels & Packaging Contest Award
Century Marketing received the 2nd place award in the 2009 HP Digital Labels & Packaging Awards Contest in the category of Alcoholic Beverages. Century chose to submit a label they printed for a customer's Bohemian Spiced Whisky bottle. This label, featuring a brightly colored bird with distinctly colored feathers on a dark matte background, presented a number of challenges for the Century team, but their ability to successfully overcome these obstacles yielded an award-winning submission.When the digital printing team at Century Marketing took on the Bohemian Spiced Whisky project, they researched and acquired a new base material, ordered a custom die to accentuate the size of the whiskey bottle, and brought in a new copper foil hot stamp material to highlight the richness of the whiskey.
