Lo-Density or Lo-D bags are the plastic bags found in department stores like Old Navy and Marshall Fields. These bags usually have a bottom gusset and are thicker than Hi-Density bags. We recommend purchasing these bags with a reinforced handle. Hi-Density or Hi-D bags are the "crinkly" type plastic bags found in most large chain retail stores like Wal-Mart and K-Mart. The bags are thinner to the touch than Lo-D bags, but possess good strength.
